💖 A Piano with a Story
Tureis is built from recordings of our cherished Yamaha U1, a family-owned upright piano celebrated for its rich, resonant sound and expressive touch. Using carefully placed microphones just 15cm above the hammers, we captured the piano’s intimate character with the felt pedal engaged. Every note, phrase, and nuance was then chopped, reversed, time-stretched (300–500x), and resampled to create truly unique ambient textures.
